Ugh. Today is a day of mass disorganisation! Yesterday went to plan, went to the mall, picked up some things and went home. Got one fleece jumper made for Adam’s mum. Couldn’t be arsed to make low carb muffins so I made full fat blueberry muffins for the boys. Phil, Ian and Sam came over last night for some drinkies which has led to the disorganisation today.
Luckily I don’t have fixed hours at work and nor does my brother as he works for MoD too. He stayed over last night and he’s leaving his car at mine while he goes to town tonight so I have his car to drive!! It’s so nice driving a newer car, our R reg Astra is quite frankly; poo. It gets us from A to B etc but it’s old and disgustingly beige. Hopefully we will buy Phil’s car when he goes off to Afghanistan for 6 months with work. Can’t decide whether to sell the Astra in the event of getting Phil’s car (a newer Astra) or keep it as ‘Adam’s car’ cos I can’t stand the mess he creates in cars!! If I open the car door in a slight breeze fag packets, crisp packets and Macdonalds bags fly out and it drives me insane!
I digress… so I got up late, had to drop my brother off, then to work. WOO no boss!! I love the fact he doesn’t tell me when he won’t be in; it’s always such a pleasant surprise not to find him at his desk! Made my day!! Also some other things that made my day:
I was 12st 9lbs on Monday, I am now 12st 6lbs! Love it! Lost 3lbs since Monday and I’ve had some seriously nice food! I have to watch myself though cos when I’ve had a few glasses of wine I gravitate towards the ever present bowls of crisps in my house and start munching.
I was talking to Danielle on Facebook last night and she is going to do the half marathon!! (You have no choice now Dan, I’ve told the world lol) I have updated the justgiving page again to include Danielle. Dan already does 6 miles with Sole Sisters and so will have NO trouble being prepared for the half; I’m betting she’ll get a superfast time too! Dan and Kate will probably speed off and Lorraine and I will limp along at the rear!
Sheena, Diane and I (from work) went to see Josie who is on maternity leave and her 7 month old baby Jack for a few hours which was really nice. I got sicked on and I now have eau de petit filous/ribena!
SO, plannage;
Tonight: Exercise free zone. Make another fleece jumper, make some low-carb muffins, eat muffins. Prepare for another opening of Casa del Stowell. I’ve decided we are a Mexican bar.
Tomorrow (Saturday): Do SOMETHING exercise related. Even for just half an hour. I may make myself a fleece as I appear to be the only one out of my nearest and dearest who doesn’t have one.
Sunday: Scoff roast dinner minus potatoes :-( veg out, eat more muffins, be fat :-)
Monday: Running with Sole Sisters, strangely quite looking forward to it! What is HAPPENING TO ME?? Heeeeeeeelp.
Good work Holly :-) we've got a lovely 18 mile run tomorrow! it's all in the mind along with some well planned motivating tunes I tell you!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you are running with a group, it's much more motivating to know others are there to help, I think Becky is the only reason I manage to put the running kit on! I have a tip for you if you can stomach it....... Beetroot juice! It may be a little pricey (try Sainsburys rather than the health food shops) but as long as you can tolerate the taste it really is a super drink! Helps to oxygenate your system and reduces fatigue. I've been drinking a glass a day (they do shots too for on the move) and have really noticed the difference.
