Another 5 miles done! Lorraine and I went around Abbey Wood 3 times and back home which was 5.3 miles. We didn't go for a particular time tonight as Lorraine is having a little groin problem (we won't ask why haha) so we walked the last circuit. It was a good run for me, I didn't get numb foot syndrome! I am finding that each circuit round I can run a little longer and I can breathe better. For the first mile or so my breathing is all over the place, my legs hurt and then all of a sudden it gets easier! By the second lap I don't struggle to breathe as much which is nice.
Good news- earlier on a friend of mine from work has agreed to join us in the Cardiff Half! Kate Munslow has a personal connection to LATCH as they helped her nephew and his family 11 years ago; unfortunately Kate’s nephew lost his battle with cancer. I have updated the justgiving site so it now includes Kate. I have a feeling I may be able to get 2 or 3 more people interested by October… watch this space!
Now I’m hank marvin so I need to make some tea. Just figured out the soup I made yesterday was actually 2 servings and I ate both of them meaning I have no carbs left. This angers me, firstly, 2 servings?? For an 8 month old child maybe!! Dammit. That soup was nice too I was going to make that again but it’s too many carbs for the weight loss phase. Secondly, I’m hungry and I thought I would have carbs left so now I feel mega deprived, especially as Adam has just declared he can't be bothered to make anything and is going to the chip shop! I could kill for fish and chips! I’ll find something carb free to cook… yay for scrambled egg and BACON!
